A Week of Pioneer Spirit

Dear Hill-Murray Community,

It is a great week to be a PIONEER!

Homecoming is this week, and I hope to see all of you on Friday. Food trucks, music, and all the festivities start at 5:00 PM. Few schools celebrate Homecoming as well as Hill-Murray!

From football games to the Homecoming Dance, and all of the fun dress-up days that come with the week, many traditions at Hill-Murray are tried and true. The Pioneer spirit is strong, and I am so proud of the student leadership that has stepped up to create fun and engaging community-building events and activities this week.

Whether you graduated from Archbishop Murray, Hill High School, or Hill-Murray, I hope you will continue to return to campus. Please know that you are always welcome, and we value your presence and support. Together we have created an educational tradition on the East Side, and it is a legacy that is so incredibly important in today’s world.

As we celebrate this legacy and tradition, I am so excited that today is HM Give Day. It is a day when our Pioneer community comes together to support Hill-Murray. I invite you to join me in participating. No gift is too small, and you can be assured that your gift is directly connected to our shared goal of forming our students to become inquisitive, compassionate, and resilient leaders grounded in the teachings of Christ.

Again, hope to see you Friday! Sisters from St. Paul’s Monastery will be joining me on Friday in the Beer Garden. Stop by and say hello!

Sincerely,

Melissa Dan
