Students Returning to H-M Fall 2024 – Mark Your Calendars!

Business Day is a mandatory day for returning students come to Hill-Murray School during their designated time to turn in all necessary health forms, have a school photo taken, get a locker assignment, and receive a parking permit to prepare for the upcoming school year. Below are the dates for returning high school and middle school students. Specific 15 minute time frames for when your student should arrive, based on last name, will be posted by the beginning of August.

Tuesday, August 13th: Returning 10th-12th grade, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Wednesday, August 14th: Returning 7th-8th grade, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM


Senior Information Night

Seniors and their parents are reminded to attend one mandatory Senior Information Night. There are two to choose from: Sunday, August 25th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM in the Auditorium, or Monday, August 26th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM in the Auditorium. At this meeting, students and parents will complete a transcript release form, sign important graduation paperwork, receive an individual transcript, and also complete application instructions.


2024-25 Uniform Reminders

Our first uniform portal is open until Thursday, July 11th. CLICK HERE to access the portal. These orders will ship directly to families homes so a shipping fee is included.

Another portal will open at the end of July. Orders will be shipped directly to school for pick-up in order to avoid shipping fees. We will send an email when samples are available. We will also add a long sleeve polo to this portal.

In August, families can exchange new uniform apparel (with the tags on) at the school for a different size free of charge.

This is a transitional year for our uniforms, so all prior uniform apparel will be acceptable (except grey skirts) for the upcoming school year.

In 2025-26, we will grandfather all H-M polo shirts.

Fall Athletic Kickoff Night – Tuesday, August 6th

Hill-Murray School Auditorium

6:00 PM: Large group presentation in the Auditorium for Girls Tennis, Girls Soccer, Girls Swim and Dive, and Football

6:45 PM: Breakout sessions for the above sports

7:00 PM: Large group presentation in the Auditorium for Volleyball, Boys Soccer, and Cross Country

7:45 PM: Breakout sessions for the above sports

Perform at Halftime for all home football games and the Homecoming Pepfest! There is a Parent Meeting on Thursday, August 8th at 6:30 PM in the Hill-Murray Commons for all who are interested. Click here for more information.


Tuition Opt-Out Process

Hill-Murray Families,

We understand that family plans may change for the upcoming school year. To avoid fees and assist us in planning for the next academic year, kindly review our Opt-Out Process:

If the Business Office receives an email notification for an opt-out prior to June 30th, students will be released from the tuition agreement without incurring any penalties.

Any withdrawal after June 30th until the commencement of the school year will incur a charge of 25% of the tuition agreement.

For withdrawals after the start of the school year, a full semester of tuition will be required, depending on the timing of the student’s departure. For instance, if your student begins the first semester and leaves during that same semester, they will be charged tuition for the entire first semester (equivalent to half of the annual tuition).

The above Opt-Out Process applies regardless of whether the withdrawal is due to expulsion, dismissal, transfer, or any other reason. In any case of withdrawal, the registration fee is non-refundable and will not be prorated.

Alumni, current and past parents, grandparents, and friends of Hill-Murray are invited to join us for the 2024 Pioneer Golf Classic at Indian Hills Golf Club on Monday, September 9th.

11:00 AM Check-in, boxed lunch, and range balls

12:00 PM Shotgun start time

Dinner to follow the tournament

Cost: $150/golfer

Includes lunch, golf, carts, and dinner.
